Refund and Privacy Policies
Returns from Online Store and Custom Orders
Our refund policy is All Sales Final. Unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange after this period, unless the matter is grave. Before we pack and ship Special Orders, we photograph the paintings and send you by e-mail, for your approval.
In Case of Possible Damage during Shipping
We only replace items if they are damaged. If you believe your painting has been damaged during shipping, due to a severe dent, an open rip, or any other visible damage to the packaging, we ask you to photograph the packaging and not open the package until you have contacted us first for instructions. We will need to evaluate each occurrence individually, as the possible damaged good is an original art piece and has been insured accordingly.
In the case of a deemed damaged painting during shipping from Iceland to the destination address, we will create another YANTRA PAINTING for you in the color you initially ordered. Please do not send the damaged painting back to us until you will have received instructions from us on how to proceed.
We do not send YANTRA PAINTINGS as gifts to ‘unaware’ third parties. The buyer is responsible for receiving the painting himself/herself, and to give/send/ship the painting to the third party, after, receiving it himself/herself.
We do on the other hand sell gift vouchers, where the painting/s have already been paid for by the buyer/giver. The gift voucher is sent to the receiver by registered mail, indicating the giver’s name. The receiver of the gift voucher needs to contact us to provide the destination address, and by so doing, officially becomes the buyer/receiver on all shipping documents, and will be responsible for any customs fees applicable in the destination country.
SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address, and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing: With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products, and other updates.

How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to book an appointment in our showroom in Iceland, to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order or arrange for a delivery, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent or provide you with an opportunity to say no. This also applies if you have opted in to our mailing list on our website.
How do I withdraw my consent?

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
SECTION 4 - Wix.com
Our Gallery/Online store is hosted on Wix.com. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases, and the general Wix.com application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors like PayPal and Korta (IS), have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.
When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
SECTION 9 - CHANGES TO OUR PRICES
We reserve the right to modify our prices, to lower or to higher them, at any time.
We base our prices on the Icelandic Króna as all our expenses are the same. Therefore the prices in the Online Store (the store is set in US dollars) may fluctuate up or down depending on changes in the currency conversation rate between the ISK and the US dollar.
